Before driving to Delaware City we stopped at Lowe’s to pick up a few items for our boat then it was on to Delaware City and the Blue Heron at 9:45 am. We started unloading items from the truck and cleaned until 5:30 pm. The day brought more rain showers off and on. We noticed a break in the weather in the afternoon and walked Lucy uptown. An antique truck show was going on downtown so we checked that out and enjoyed a couple of hot dogs. It was back to the motel for the night where we showered and then ate at a nearby “authentic” Mexican restaurant. It was quite good!
