It was another long travel day. We covered 60 miles in a little over nine hours. The northeast wind was light and didn’t help us very much, but we enjoyed a clear and sunny day with temperatures reaching into the mid 70’s. Our friends on Polar Pacer encouraged us to join them at St. Mary’s on the north side of the river; however, we wanted to keep on going down the line and stayed on the southern shore where we found a lovely spot to anchor on the Coan River at about 6:30 pm. We are certain that we will run into Tom and Kris soon since they are also setting their sights on Florida and the Bahamas for the winter.
