Now that our company had departed, it was time for a cleaning day. Lucy and Gale spent all day cleaning the inside and the outside of the boat and even found time to do laundry. Somehow cleaning and chores onboard Blue Heron seemed much more pleasurable than any other type of work. It was a good day but Gale was really missing Maureen.
