We were up at 5 am and ready to go. Our plan was to sail back across Lake Michigan if the winds were favorable or, if not, sail further up Lake Michigan’s east coast. The winds were brisk and from the west so we sailed north to Pentwater, MI. Once on the Lake, Bob and Phil raised the sails while Susie and Donna stayed in their cabins until later in the morning. By mid morning we were entering the Pentwater inlet and enjoying a beautiful clear day. Pentwater is a scenic village with sweet cottages and clean beaches. The shops were fun to explore and everyone made purchases to take back home. No one wanted to think about leaving, but it was time to plan the crossing back to Port Washington. We found a good anchorage and spent a few hours reviewing the charts after dinner. Lights out early.
No baby yet.
